Spring has finally sprung in the beautiful Black Hills and we can’t wait to get outside for activity and recreation! Custer State Park is always a great place to spend time during the spring but after the recent Legion Lake fire, many wonder how that will impact our community’s ability to enjoy CSP.
For the “Rally Season” blog, it’s all about pampering and rewarding ourselves by taking some down time. Stay home, prepare our own meals, listen to our body and check out of the rat race for a week. There’s no better time to do that, even if you can’t afford to get away this year. Make this an annual holiday for your mind/body/spirit!
Not for snow and Santa, but for tourists! Yes, people have come from far and wide to enjoy the splendor of The Black Hills. You can find our visitors loitering downtown with Presidents Taft and Truman. They’re hiking the trails, and hitting all of our major attractions – like Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Main Street Square in Rapid City. They’re getting around town in cars and trucks, vans and RVs, motorcycles and on foot.
