TOOLS WE USE TO HELP YOU

CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

Chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is a manual procedure that utilizes the highly refined skills developed during the doctor of chiropractic’s intensive years of chiropractic education. The chiropractic physician typically uses his or her hands–or an instrument–to manipulate the joints of the body, particularly the spine, in order to restore or enhance joint function. This often helps resolve joint inflammation and reduces the patient’s pain.  The chiropractor adapts the procedure to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients often note positive changes in their symptoms immediately following treatment.

SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

Dr. K uses a multitude of soft tissue techniques to help her patients, including, IASTT (instrument assisted soft tissue therapy), active pinning and stretching, TENS (electrical therapy). She will be able to find the best method to suite your needs.

KENIOSIOLOGY TAPING

This is one of Dr. K’s favorite tools! You may have all seen this on Olympic athletes with all sorts of crazy patterns on their shoulders and knees. This tape is used to increase circulation and help your nerves to pay special attention to an injured or weak area. It is 24 hour therapy as the tape should stay on for 3-5 days.
